     Wayne Richard Soule was born on 2 March 1932 at Amherst, Portage Co, WI. He was the son of Gerald George Soule and Malinda Loberg. Wayne Richard Soule married Ila Jean Nelson on 24 September 1955 at Marshfield, Wood Co, WI. Wayne Richard Soule died on 24 August 1981 at age 49.¹ He was buried on 25 August 1981 at South New Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of New Hope, Portage Co, WI.

Wayne Soule served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Alaska. He was employed by the Consoweld Corporation, Wisconsin Rapids, for 10 years and during the past 18 years served as a dispatcher for CW Transport in Wisconsin Rapids. He was a member of Hy-Flyers, an investment club and was active in area bowling and golf leagues for the past 13 years.

     Bertha Sowinska married Anton Firkus on 9 January 1893 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Max. Sowinski married Helen Merkes on 5 February 1901 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Elmer Ellsworth Spaulding was born on 2 November 1901 at Birnamwood, Shawano Co, WI.^1,2 He was the son of Dell Spaulding and Adelaide Rew.¹ Elmer Ellsworth Spaulding married Ella Louise Gustin, daughter of William Gustin and Edith May Soule, on 27 November 1924 at Appleton, Outagamie Co, WI.^3,4,1 Elmer Ellsworth Spaulding and Ella Louise Gustin appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Grand Chute township, Outagamie Co, WI, enumerated 17 April 1930. Their children Shirley June, William Elmer, Elizabeth May and Lawrence Dunn were listed as living with them.⁵ Elmer Ellsworth Spaulding died on 2 January 1991 at Waupun, Dodge Co, WI, at age 89; stroke.^6,7 He was buried at Forest Mound Cemetery, Waupun, Dodge Co, WI. Elmer Spaulding was educated in the Appleton schools and was a member of the 1921 High School Basketball team playing center. He was 6' 1' tall. The team won the state tournament that year. He owned and operated Midwesco, a farm animal mineral feed supplement company and sales organization in Waupun from 1939 to 1975. He was an avid golfer and bowler and he loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Knights of Pythius Lodge and a 50 year member of United Methodist Church, Waupun, WI.

     Anton Spica married Julia Gliniecka on 6 February 1893 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Josephine Spica married Ignatius Wojak on 6 November 1893 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Martha Spica married Sylvester Strojk on 14 February 1898 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Thomas Spica married Josepha Gilmajster on 14 May 1900 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Catherine Springer married Francis Gollon, son of Nicolaus Golon and Anastasia Urban, on 24 May 1915 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Andrew Sroda married Anna Wroblewska on 17 October 1892 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Carl Sroda married Helen Ligman, daughter of Valentine Ligman and Nepomucena Graczykowski, on 9 September 1900 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Anastasia Stachowiak was born circa 1842.² She married Jozef Golonik on 27 October 1877 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.³ Anastasia Stachowiak died on 2 January 1914 at Wood County Asylum, Marshfield, Wood Co, WI.² She was buried on 5 January 1914 at St. Casimir Cemetery, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.²

     Chrisostomus John Stachowiak was born circa 1847.³ He married Magdaline Szymkowiak, daughter of Jacob Szymkowiak, at Salamanaca, Cattaraugus Co, NY. Note: This family can be found in the 1880 Federal Census, Portage County, WI, Town of Stevens Point, page 18, line 19. Chrisostomus John Stachowiak died on 27 July 1890 at Portage Co, WI.³ He was buried on 29 July 1890 at St. Casimir Cemetery, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.³

     Joseph Fred Stachowiak was born on 6 March 1889 at Portage Co, WI.¹ He was baptized on 6 March 1889 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Joseph Fred Stachowiak married Magdaline K Bukowski, daughter of Adalbert (George) Bukowski and Anne Zmudzinska, on 2 September 1912 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.² Joseph Fred Stachowiak died on 16 February 1942 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 52.

     Mary Stachowiak was born on 25 June 1880 at Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Mary Stachowiak was baptized on 27 June 1880 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹ She married Andrew Zimbauer, son of Sebastian Zimbauer, on 22 January 1900 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.²

Mrs. Mary Zimbauer

Mrs. Mary Zimbauer, 78, died Thursday afternoon at 1:20 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Kossowski, Town of Hull.
A resident of Hull nearly all her life, she was the widow of Andrew Zimbauer, who died in 1941.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Casimir's Catholic Church in Hull, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Zimbauer was born in Hull June 25, 1880, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stachowiak. As a girl, she attended St. Casimir's School.
Her marriage to Mr. Zimbauer took place at St. Casimir's Church in 1900, and the couple lived in the Town of Sharon for the next year. After that, they returned to Hull.
Mrs. Zimbauer is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Annie Helminiak (sp.) Zurawski, 1036 Portage St., Mrs. Alex (Dorothy) Feltz, Route 4, Stevens Point, Mrs. Bruno (Susie) Michalski, 101 4th Ave., Mrs. Joseph (Lucille) Ligman, Route 4, Stevens Point, and Mrs. Kossowski; five sons, Anton and Fred Zimbauer, Wausau, and Alois, Carl and Chester Zimbauer, Chicago; 42 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore Stachowiak, Wausau, and Fred Stachowiak, 200 5th Ave., and two sisters, Miss Lucy Stachowiak and Mrs. Rose Rutta, 204 5th Ave.
Three daughters and four brothers preceded her in death.
St. Casimir's Rosary Society, of which Mrs. Zimbauer was a member, will say the rosary at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Saturday, and a general rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Zimbauer's Funeral

Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Town of Hull, for Mrs. Mary Zimbauer, 78, Hull, whose death occurred last Thursday.
The Rev. Francis J. Brzostowicz conducted the services, with the Rev. Joseph Kundinger of Schofield saying mass at a side altar. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Anton, Fred, Alois, Carl and Chester Zimbauer, sons of the deceased, and Henry Zimbauer, a cousin. Four grandsons of Mrs. Zimbauer were altar boys.
Members of the parish Rosary Society attended the services in a group.

Dorine, Sister M. Annatolia, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Konkol and M. Bronk, Milwaukee.

Mary Stachowiak died on 30 January 1959 at Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI, at age 78.

     Rosalia Stachowiak was born on 22 August 1884 at Portage Co, WI.² She was baptized on 23 August 1884 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.² She was the daughter of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Rosalia Stachowiak married Frank Rutta, son of Theodore Rutta and Marianna Bryll, on 29 April 1907 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹ Rosalia Stachowiak died on 29 November 1971 at Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 87.

Rose Rutta

Mrs. Rose Rutta, 87, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday at the Portage County Home. She had been ill for the past five years and had been a resident of the county home since 1969.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Arthur Redmond of St. Casimir's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Casimir's parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Rutta was a member of the Ladies Rosary Society of St. Casimer's and it will recite a rosary at 7:30. A general rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock.
Mrs. Rutta was born Aug. 22, 1884, in the Town of Hull, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stachowiak. She attended St. Casimir's school and was a lifelong member of St. Casimir's church.
She was married to Frank Rutta at St. Casimir's church. They settled and farmed in the Town of Hull area. Mr. Rutta died in 1951. Mrs. Rutta then moved to 408 5th Ave.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Irene Zakrzewski, Wausau; two sons, Ambrose, Hilbert, and Casimer, 1117 Edgewood Dr; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rutta was the last member of her family. She was preceded in death by one daughter, brothers and sisters.

     Rosalia Stachowiak was born circa 1809.¹ She married Andreae Przybylski. Rosalia Stachowiak died in 1884 at Portage Co, WI.¹

     Susanna Stachowiak was born on 11 August 1896 at Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Roman Stachovak and Martha Laszewski. Susanna Stachowiak was baptized on 14 August 1896 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹ She died on 15 November 1897 at Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI, at age 1. She was buried on 17 November 1897 at Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.

     Theodore Stachowiak was born on 1 November 1881 at Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Chrisostomus John Stachowiak and Magdaline Szymkowiak. Theodore Stachowiak was baptized on 3 November 1881 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹ He married Maria Magdalena Rutta, daughter of Theodore Rutta and Marianna Bryll, on 8 November 1909 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.² Theodore Stachowiak died on 7 March 1969 at Wausau, Marathon Co, WI, at age 87.

T. A. Stachowiak

Theodore A. Stachowiak, 87, 2314 Sixth St., Wausu (sp.) died Friday at 4:20 p.m. at a Wausau hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau, and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Wausau. The Very Rev. John J. Krasowski will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday after 3:30 p.m. A joint Holy Name Society and parish rosary service will be held there at 8 p.m. Monday.
Mr. Stachowiak was born Nov. 1, 1881, in the Town of Hull, Portage County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stachowiak. In November 1909, in the Town of Hull, he was married to Mary Rutta, who died Jan. 16, 1949. He was a retired (sp.) beater engineer for the Rothschild Division of American Can Co.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond, 3922 Carl St., Wausau, and Fabian, Arrow Street, Schofield; four daughters, Mrs. Chrisantha Gauley, and Mrs. Frank Wolak, both of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Elsworth Prahl, Wausau Route 3, and Mrs. Norman Weinberger, 2314 Sixth St., Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Rose Rutta, Stevens Point, 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Theodore A. Stachowiak, 87, 2314 Sixth St., Wausau, who died Friday, were held today at Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau, and at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Wausau. The Very Rev. John J. Krasowski officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were James and Michael Stachowiak, Fabian Stachowiak Jr., Frank and Gerald Wolak and Roger R. Goetz.

     Marianna Stenzel was the daughter of Adalbert Stenzel and Anthoninae (?)¹ Marianna Stenzel was also known as Maria Stancel.¹ She married Herman Janicki.¹

     Mary Stancel married Jerome Janicki on 18 January 1892 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹
