     Catherine Dera was born circa 1825 at Poland.² She married Adam Kleinsmith on 3 March 1851 at Stezyca, Kartuzy, Gdansk, West Prussia.^3,4 Catherine AND Adam emigrated in 1858 aboard the S.S. Atlantic having departed from Bremen, Germany. They came from the village of Msciszewice in the "powiat" (county) of Kartuski in what was then called West Prussia. Also listed on the passenger list was, Eva and Martin. The ship arrived at the Port of New York on 9 Aug 1858.³ Catherine Dera died before 22 June 1870.⁵

     Josepha Derezynski/Derezinski was born on 24 August 1883 at Portage Co, WI.¹ She was the daughter of Michael Derezynski/Derezinski and Antonia Pierdzioch.¹ Josepha Derezynski/Derezinski was baptized on 26 August 1883 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Mary Derra was born at Prussia.¹ She married Joseph Szulfer on 6 February 1837 at Stezyca, Kartuzy, Gdansk, West Prussia.¹ She died while emigrating to the United States.¹

     Lucy Doberstein was born on 7 January 1880 at Chicago, Cook Co, IL.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Jacob Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn and Maria Magdalena Jazdzewski.² Lucy Doberstein was baptized on 11 January 1880 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Chicago, Cook Co, IL.⁴ She married Frank Falkavage, son of Michael Falkiewicz and Agatha Helminski, on 12 November 1901 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.³ Lucy Doberstein and Frank Falkavage appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at 302 Franklin Street, enumerated 8 January 1920. Their children Julian Joseph, Frank, Florian Paul, Alice, Raymond, Ervin, Lucille, Esther Theresa and Richard were listed as living with them.⁵

The following obituary appeared 2 May 1964 in the Stevens Point Daily Journal, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI:



     Mrs. Lucy Falkavage, 84, 320 Franklin St., widow of a former Stevens Point police official, died at 7:45 this morning at St. Michael's Hospital, where she had been a patient for 10 days. She had been ill since December. Mrs. Falkavage was born in Chicago Jan. 7, 1880, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Duberstein. She came to Stevens Point as a child and was married to Frank Falkavage at St. Peter's Catholic Church Nov. 12, 1901. They moved to the present Falkavage home 50 years ago. Mrs. Falkavage's husband, a retired police captain, died Dec. 13, 1955. She is survived by four daughters, Miss Alice and Miss Lorraine, at home, Mrs. Maurice (Lucille) Kolinski, 301 Meadow St., and Mrs. Carl (Ester) Ludwikowski, 703 5th Ave; four sons, Julian, 1237 N. 2nd St., Florian, 702 Wadleigh St., Ervin, 313 Oak St., and Richard, South Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Worblewski, Washburn. Two sons, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Church, with burial in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday. St. Peter's Rosary Society, of which Mrs. Falkavage was a member, will say the rosary Sunday night at 7:30, and a general rosary will be recited Monday night at 8.

Lucy Doberstein died on 2 May 1964 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 84.² She was buried on 5 May 1964 at Guardian Angel Cemetery, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI.²

     Anna Marta Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn was baptized on 19 August 1875 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Chicago, Cook Co, IL.¹ She was born on 19 August 1875 at Chicago, Cook Co, IL.¹ She was the daughter of Jacob Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn and Maria Magdalena Jazdzewski.¹ Anna Marta Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn died on 10 April 1956 at Mosinee, Marathon Co, WI, at age 80.² According to Anna's obituary, she was born 16 Sep 1870 in Chicago and was married on 30 May 1890 in Stevens Point to John Monien. However, regarding her birth, there was no Anna Dobersztajn (or any spelling variations) born on that date at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Chicago. There was an Anna Marta baptised 19 Aug 1875. Also, her parents were not married until 1872 and I find it quite unlikely that they had a child out of wedlock, two years before they married.

     Elizabeth Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn was born circa 1888 at WI.² She was the daughter of Jacob Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn and Maria Magdalena Jazdzewski.¹ Elizabeth Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn appeared on the 1905 WI State Census of 4th Ward Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI in the household of her parents, Jacob Dobersztajn/Dobersztyn and Maria Magdalena Jazdzewski.²
