     Albert Grezenski was born on 18 October 1917 at Town of Dewey, Portage Co, WI.¹ He was the son of Michael Grezenski and Sophia Tetzloff.¹ Albert Grezenski died on 31 January 2006 at Portage County Health Care Center, Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI, at age 88.¹

Albert E. Grezenski, 88, 511 W. Maple Drive, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at the Portage County Health Care Center, where he had resided the past month.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in the town of Hull, with the Rev. Wesley Janowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services. A general rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial in his name will be established at a later date in lieu of flowers.

Mr. Grezenski was born Oct. 18, 1917, in the town of Dewey, a son of the late Michael and Sophie (Tetzloff) Grezenski.

He was in the Conservation Corps for two years. He was married to Lucille Kawleski on Sept. 23, 1940, at St. Casimir Catholic Church.

He was employed at Lullabye Furniture Co. until his retirement.

He and his family also owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Dewey.

Survivors include his wife; 10 sons, Ronald, Eagle River, James (Barb), Mosinee, Dennis, North Carolina, Allan (Carol), Custer, Kenneth (Cathy), Norman (Terri), Chris (Jane), Kevin (Diane), Glenn and Darwin (Elaine), all of Stevens Point; six daughters, Coreen (Ronald) Lassa, Mosinee, Donna (Jim) Holmes, Florida, Cindy (Eugene) Pionek, Bancroft, Debbie (Jesse) Wolfe, Stevens Point, and Denise Wiza and Doreen (Rich) Zarecki, both of Junction City; three sisters, Grace Kawleski, Stevens Point, Lucille Walsh, Oregon, and Cyrilla Crabtree, California; one brother, Carl, Milwaukee; 47 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Dale; and two brothers, Adam and Edward.
