     Mary Riley was born on 1 September 1836 at Ireland.^{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8} She immigrated in 1847.⁹ She married Patrick Corrigan Jr., son of Patrick Corrigan and Rose Ann Folun, on 10 October 1852 at La Salle Co, IL.^10,11 Mary Riley died on 13 September 1908 at Custer, Portage Co, WI, at age 72.⁷ She was buried on 15 September 1908 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Custer, Portage Co, WI.⁸ The following obituary appeared in the Amherst Advocate, Amherst, Portage Co., Wisconsin, Thursday, September 17, 1908:

DEATH OF MRS. CORRIGAN
Passed away at Her Home near Custer Sunday

Mrs. Mary Corrigan, an aged resident of the town of Stockton, passed away at her home near the Custer station, Sunday morning, after an illness covering a period of several months.

Mrs. Corrigan, whose maiden name was Mary Riley, was born in Ireland in May, 1836. In 1847 with her parents she came to America and settled at Kalamazo [sic] Michigan From there they removed to Illinois where she was married to Patrick Corrigan and in the year 1856 they moved to Wisconsin, settling on the farm near Custer, which has since been their home. Mr. Corrigan passed away in 1901.

They are survived by nine children and two others have preceded them to the grave. Those surviving are James P. Corrigan of Custer, Mrs. Margaret Shea of Bayfield, Mrs. Martin Gleason of California, Mrs. William Cauley, Mrs. James Dineen and Patrick Corrigan of Custer, Mrs. Thomas Padden, of Lanark, Mrs. Henry Miller and Miss Frances Corrigan of Spokane.

The funeral was held from St. Mary's church at Custer, Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. Father Ulrich officiating, and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

     Frances Rochowiak was the daughter of John Rochowiak and Helena Kemnitz.² Frances Rochowiak married Stephen Wikowski, son of Joseph Wikowski and Agatha (?), on 16 November 1891 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹

     Gertrude Rochowiak was born on 2 July 1878 at Portage Co, WI.² She was baptized on 2 July 1878 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.² She was the daughter of Matheus Rochowiak and Marianna Krygier. Gertrude Rochowiak married Joseph Hefta, son of Anthony Hefta and Juliana (?), on 8 February 1897 at St. Casimir Church, Town of Hull, Portage Co, WI.¹
