Alois (Alex) Stoltz

Alois (Alex) Stoltz, 64, of 628 Stanley street, died Friday evening at 9:30 o'clock at his home following a lingering illness.
Mr. Stoltz was born Nov. 4, 1889, in the town of Dewey, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Stoltz. He resided there until his early manhood and on April 25, 1910, was married to the former Johanna King at St. Casimir's Catholic church, town of Hull.
Afterward, the couple resided in Stevens Point for a year and a half and then moved to a farm at Hatley. After eight years spent there, they moved to Galloway, residing there until Mr. Stoltz's retirement in 1946.
Since then, they had resided in Stevens Point at the Stanley street address.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Phillip Easker, Hatley; a granddaughter; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Anton, 511 North Illinois avenue, and Felix, 426 Stanley street, and seven sisters, Mrs. Frank Szews, Birnamwood, Route 1, Mrs. Anton Schultz, 425 Franklin street, Mrs. Ed Demares, Mrs. Frank Hamerski, Mrs. Paul Hamerski, Mrs. Frank Slowinski and Mrs. Don Schauer, all of Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph, who died July 25 this year.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Stanislaus' church, with burial to follow in Guardian Angel cemetery.
Friends may call at the Prais funeral home from this evening until the time of services. General rosaries are scheduled there at 8 o'clock tonight, Sunday and Monday evenings.
At 7:30 o'clock Monday evening, the Rosary society of St. Stanislaus' parish will recite the rosary. Mrs. Stoltz is a member of the group.

Services For Alois Stoltz

Funeral services for Alois Stoltz of 628 Stanley street were conducted Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Stanislaus' Catholic church.
Rev. Leo Trojanowski officiated at the church, with Rev. Hilary F. Simmons conducting committal services in Guardian Angel cemetery. Mr. Stoltz dies last Friday evening at his home.
The pallbearers were Henry Yulga, Norbert Szews, Albert King, Leo Stoltz, Bruno Stoltz and Elmer Stefl.
